With over thousands years of history
and culture, Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam – has always been an
interesting place and one of the oldest cities in Asia attracting
tourists with its charm of ancient pagodas, old quarters,
French-influenced buildings as well as friendly local people. There are
highlights in Hanoi that should not be missed such as Ho Chi Minh
Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays and on the renovation dates),
Ho Chi Minh Stilt House, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature – the
first university in Vietnam founded in 11th century, History
Museum, Museum of Ethnology, Ngoc Son Temple at Hoan Kiem Lake as well
as the newly recognized UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site Imperial
Citadel of Thang Long (closed on Mondays).
In order to experience more about the
daily life, guests can enjoy the cyclo ride for one hour around the Old
Quarter of 36 Streets (please negotiate the price, it is maximum 5
USD/per pax/hour, about 100.000 VND) or by electric car (about
30.000VND/pax for 35 minutes). Besides, guests can enjoy the spectacular
water puppet show in the evening (there are five shows a day starting
from 15:00, it takes 50 minutes for one show. You could choose the first
class ticket with 100.000 VND/tix or second class ticket with 80.000 VND/tix)
Moreover, there are several excursions
to the surrounding area of Hanoi such as day trip to Halong Bay – UNESCO
World Natural Heritage Site, day trip to Ninh Binh enjoying the
hand-rowed sampan in Trang An – UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

Hue was the capital of Nguyen Dynasty,
the last dynasty of Vietnam reigned from 1802 to 1945. It still
preserves much of imperial city that guests can enjoy a bicycle ride to
visit including the Imperial Citadel recognized of UNESCO World Cultural
Heritage Site, Royal Tombs of Nguyen Emperors, ancient pagodas such as
Thien Mu Pagoda, Tu Dam Pagoda as well as typical garden houses to
